Strategic Book Publishing and Rights Agency congratulates authors Sherrill S. Cannon, William Peace and Imelda Cummins-DeMelkon, all of whom have received honors in the 2012 Reader Views Literary Awards. The annual literary awards were established to recognize writers who self-published or had their books published by a small press, university press, or independent book publisher geared for the North American reading audience.
Named a Finalist in the Children’s Early Reader Category is Sherrill S. Cannon’s Gimme Jimmy, a delightful tale of a young boy who must learn the lesson of sharing.
William Peace’s Efraim’s Eye is a Finalist for Novel/General Fiction. Terrorists target a London landmark in this exciting new thriller. Winners in these categories will be chosen at the end of the month.
In the Global/Region divisions, the results have already been announced and Imelda Cummns-DeMelkon took top honors as European Winner for her memoir The Modern Voice of an Irish Immigrant. Cummins-DeMelkon writes a fascinating account of her experiences growing up in Ireland as one of 12 children, and the struggles and challenges that led her to immigrate to the United States.
