Ian Crouch was a Finalist in the Faction category (fiction based on fact), also at the National Indie Excellence Awards for A Pyrrhic Victory: Volume I, The Shaping of Destiny.
Winning a Finalist spot in the National Indie Excellence Cross Genre category was Martina Nicolls for Bardot’s Comet.
Taking an Honorable Mention at the Green Book Festival in the Animal category was Sambolt by Joshua Rios.
At the Purple Dragonfly Book Awards, Robin Martin-Duttmann received an Honorable Mention for her work, Zoo on the Moon.
At the 2013 New York Book Festival, Julie L. Kessler’s book, Fifty-Fifty, The Clarity of Hindsight won First Runner Up in the How-To category.
