Stacy Padula, author of the Montgomery Lake High series, has come up with a novel marketing idea. She has partnered with ‘Boston Bruins Nation and New England Social Network Advertising’ (NESNA) to run a contest: For every Padula book sold, buyers are entered into a drawing for a free sports jersey. The head of NESNA is also the owner of Boston Sports Memorabilia, and runs the Boston Bruins Nation, Fenway Faithful, Patriots Nation, and Green Nation’s (Celtics) Facebook fan pages; each page has thousands of followers so the outreach is huge. He is a believer in the positive message behind the Montgomery Lake High books, and how they help teens by dealing with social issues like substance abuse, bullying, and peer pressure.
