The New York Times featured authors Gregg Olson and Ocean Palmer’s new book We Got to Play Baseball in Sunday’s edition. Olson was the 1989 American League Rookie of the Year for Baltimore and is now a scout for the San Diego Padres. The book is a collection of short stories, mostly from fellow players. They are humorous and insightful, giving a unique inside look into not only the world of baseball but the players themselves.

Olson told New York Times writer Tyler Kepner, “I wanted to relate that these guys are good guys, and it’s a great game.
