Della B. has been interviewed on the BBC radio program “Good Morning Ulster” about her new book, NOT GOING HOME: A True Account of Surviving Life in a Homeless Shelter in Belfast. Says the author: “I am a 47-year-old respectable, ordinary woman. I sold my home in Belfast at the height of the housing market boom. After taking advice from someone I thought to be financially astute, I invested most of the proceeds from the sale. This resulted in me being almost broke and homeless to boot.” Della spent three months living in a Belfast homeless shelter and shares her unvarnished experiences in this remarkable book. Michael Rosenberg also hit the airwaves, appearing on ITALKFM, an English speaking local radio station in Marbella, Spain. The author talked about his newest children’s book, Chilly the Lost Polar Bear, and his previous work, the Bendalot series. Rosenberg says his stories are inspired by the imaginations of his grandchildren and, in the case of Chilly, by the real story of a little boy who kept losing his polar bear!
