The event, called the Furry Skurry, was a 5K run to raise awareness and donations for animal rescue. The run, in its 14th year, is held every year.
Terry participated as a vendor and prepared 15 of his books with a special surprise inside, Reilly’s paw print and signature (really a logo that Terry designed), and personally signed by him at the event. One lucky raffle winner won one of the books and a second person was awarded one as a special gift for her incredible dedication to the patrons of the event. All of the books were bought or donated.
A link to Terry’s book will also be placed on the Local Humane Society’s website and a notice that one dollar from each of the book sales for Reilly After the Storm will be donated to the Humane Society of Dayton, Ohio as long as the book is in print in the United States.
All in all it was a good day for one of our newest SBPRA authors. Congratulations, Terry!
