AND THE WINNER IS…

Anita Waggoner has been named one of the 50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading! 

The author had been chosen as a finalist in The Author Show 2011 Contest — “50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading” based on a radio interview with the show’s host, Don McCauley, in January 2011. Now that the voting has concluded, Waggoner has made the cut and is one of the 50 Great Writers.

Farewell to Freedom was chosen as the “Winner for Best Fiction” in the 2011 National Indie Excellence Book Awards.  The novel has been receiving five star reviews on the Amazon and Barnes and Noble’s websites and has also been well reviewed by Rebecca Reads, Midwest Book Review, Best Sellers World, Feathered Quill Book Reviews, The Encino Man, The Book Lord, Texas Book Review, and several independent readers.

Anita participated in Strategic’s Amazon Optimization Program; she’s submitted her book to Barnes and Noble for in-house distribution; she participates in the book return plan offered through Strategic; and was a participant in all of the book shows around the world attended by Strategic in 2011. She knows that it takes a lot of work to sell a lot of books!
